We offer in-person mold inspections and mold testing in Frederick County, Maryland; Montgomery County and Washington County, Maryland; and in addition, Jefferson County, West Virginia. First quarter 2026 sees our expansion to provide client assistance throughout the whole state of Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware . As certified biotoxin assessors, we also offer mycotoxin testing, bacteria testing, endotoxin testing, VOC testing and Formaldehyde testing Nationwide.
Inspections include a visual inspection of the conditioned spaces of your home and/or building. We look for mold growth, signs of water damage and water intrusions, breaches in the building envelope, and other visual clues of where biotoxin contamination is lurking. Additionally, we conduct moisture mapping using thermal imaging and various moisture meters. Lastly, we also check temperature and humidity in each room of your home and our building.
Our team will discuss testing options with each client once the visual inspection and moisture mapping is complete. Typically, we take a combination of air samples, surface swab samples, and tape lift surface samples to check mold and bacteria levels in the home and/or building. Other, biotoxin testing requires different types of sampling and such will determined by one of accessors with each individual client based upon client needs.
One under-deserved area within our industry is the ability to offer consultations on remediation plans and post-remediation air and content cleaning for medically sensitized individuals. AES prides and provides such services as Rates vary based on the square footage of your home and/or building, your individual situation, needs, and goals.
